Pizza for breakfast

So after trying and failing to find a place that delivers food before midday on a Saturday, we decided to venture out and find somewhere local. After finding out that Creperie Du Monde was out out of waffles again (seriously this is the fourth time in a row) we decided to try something new. Venerdi Pizzeria is usual full each time I walk past, but with Pizza not being most peoples morning crazing, we caught it at a relatively quiet time and decided to finally go in.

We ordered mixed cheeses with fresh bread for starters and for mains we ordered an americana pizza and spaghetti and meatballs. One thing that stood out was the serving size, the portions are great! We ordered one starter and it was more then enough to share. Then the mains where never ending. My pizza was good, it was my kind of pizza, thin base and super cheesy but the spaghetti and meatballs was definitely the winner! I got half way through my pizza before the food envy became too much and I spent the rest of the meal helping him finish. Even so there was still enough food for both of us and half a pizza to take home.

We ordered 1 starter, 2 mains and 4 drinks and the bill came to just over £30. Apart from one incident where the waiter completely forgot to make our drinks and we had to re order 20 minute later, the meal was great! A perfect hangover cure and a great way to start my weekend!
