The Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club is hands down one of my favourite places in London. I am a self confessed BC addict and proud! My late teen years consisted of frequent visits to The Breakfast Club Angel where I thought I was so awesome and chic because I went for breakfast in a place that you frequently have to queue to get into. 4 years later and the only thing that's changed is that my new local is The Breakfast Club Hoxton.

There's something about The Breakfast Club that makes me feel so at home. The staff are lovely, the music is fun, the decor is perfection and the food always hits the spot. The vibe is amazing, I feel as comfortable as I would sitting in my mum's house every time and everyone is always smiling.

I'd talk you through the menu but I'm one of those annoying people who always orders the same thing, The All American. Pancakes, eggs, sausage, home style fried potatoes, streaky bacon and maple syrup....What more could you want from life?! Team it with one of my favourite drinks (A Mango Go or a Virgin Apple Mojito, I just can't choose one) and you have left London and entered food heaven! I'm yet to find a place in London that can top The Breakfast Clubs pancakes. If your hungry for what I call real pancakes and not that skinny french alternative that some people refer to as a pancake, then The Breakfast Club is about to become your new best friend.

There's normally a queue but it doesn't last long. My usual wait is around 15 minutes and the longest I've waited is 30 minutes. The staff are amazing at keeping you informed on how long you will have to wait and to be honest no one cares how long it'll be because we all know the food is so worth it.

This is the perfect place to take a fun friend from out of town or for a quirky lunch that isn't the norm. They do offer non breakfast meals on the menu but to be honest I am there for one reason and one reason only, pancakes.

If by now you're drooling all over your keyboard whilst mentally scanning through your diary for an open slot, check out their website at www.thebreakfastclubcafes.com for all the info I haven't given you and remember to try the pancakes! And if you like chorizo you HAVE to try theirs as a side!
